Allied Maritime Services (AMS) provides:

  • Liner and port agency operations

  • Logistics, warehousing, and trading support

  • Husbandry and protection agency services

All services are subject to availability, international shipping regulations, and applicable Bangladeshi laws.


3. Service Agreement

Each client engagement is governed by:

  • A written quotation, job order, or service contract.

  • The terms mentioned in invoices, bills of lading, or service documentation.

AMS reserves the right to accept or decline any booking or service request at its sole discretion.


4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) or US Dollars (USD), unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment must be made as per the agreed schedule (e.g., advance or upon delivery).

  • Delayed or incomplete payments may result in service suspension or additional charges.

  • AMS is not responsible for bank or transfer fees deducted by financial institutions.


5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are required to:

  • Provide accurate shipment details, documentation, and contact information.

  • Ensure cargo is properly packed, labeled, and compliant with customs regulations.

  • Obtain all necessary permits and approvals before shipment.

  • Notify AMS immediately of any changes or special requirements.

AMS shall not be liable for any loss, delay, or penalty resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.


6. Cargo Handling & Liability

  • All shipments are handled with due care and professionalism.

  • AMS acts as an agent between clients and carriers, customs, or other authorities.

  • Responsibility for cargo loss, damage, or delay rests with the carrier, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

  • AMS liability is limited to the service fee paid by the client, unless specified by contract or law.


7. Customs & Regulatory Compliance

AMS will assist clients in preparing and submitting customs documents, but the client remains legally responsible for the accuracy of all declarations.
Any penalties or legal issues arising from false, incomplete, or misleading information will be borne solely by the client.


8. Force Majeure

AMS shall not be held liable for delays, losses, or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, cyclones, earthquakes)

  • Port congestion or closure

  • Government actions, war, or strikes

  • Technical breakdowns, system failures, or pandemics

In such cases, AMS will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption.


9. Confidentiality

All client information and shipment details are treated as strictly confidential.
AMS will not disclose any data to third parties except as required by law or for service execution purposes.


10. Intellectual Property

All content, images, logos, and materials on the AMS website are the intellectual property of Allied Maritime Services (AMS).
No material may be reproduced, copied, or distributed without prior written consent.


11. Limitation of Liability

AMS is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit or business opportunity).

  • Delays caused by third-party carriers, customs, or port authorities.

  • Errors arising from external data systems or technical failures.

Total liability shall not exceed the total service charge paid by the client.


12. Termination of Services

AMS reserves the right to suspend or terminate any service or website access at its discretion, without prior notice, in cases of:

  • Violation of company policies

  • Non-payment or breach of contract

  • Misuse of AMS services or website


13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
Any dispute shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

AMS reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
